Miley Cyrus started on her 6th album (7th if you include Dead Petz) before the release of Younger Now. “I’m already working on the next one,” the 25-year-old said in an interview last year. “I’m already two songs deep on the next one.” In fact, she already seemed a little bored with her new era. “I’m over this now. I want to figure out what I want to do next. Hopefully I can take some time — chill with the dogs, hand with the pigs a little bit more, take some time off. But just keep writing.”
Well, now we know at least one of her collaborators. Earlier this morning (May 24), Mark Ronson tweeted: “Jesus. Miley Cyrus can sang.” He also shared a picture of them together in the studio on his Instagram story. The pop star replied with heart and flame emojis. This is a tantalizing collaboration. The super producer is known for his old-school soul sound (he has worked with Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Christina Aguilera, Adele and so many others), but also dabbles in pop. For example, he co-produced Lady Gaga’s Joanne. See their tweets below.
